Don King is spending his Memorial day with the President of the WBC on his birthday. Today Jose Sulaiman turns 80 years old, and his friend Don wouldn’t miss that for anything. Once Don leaves Mexico, he will travel to Las Vegas for the IBF convention.
Many of Don’s vice presidents and employees are already in Vegas, getting ready for his arrival. This convention is going to have representatives from every promotional company that matters. Saying that, I only hope the promoters come together and work on a way to promote the sport of boxing to the younger generations. Plus, i hope they work out a way to get Manny Pacquiao in the ring with Floyd Mayweather. This is wishful thinking on my behalf, but everyone wants to see who would win. Im not that excited about the Pacquiao/Marquez 3 fight. I already seen that fight, I want to see the two biggest names in boxing today battle for the #1 rank. Who cares about them fighting anyone else.
